Capt Rod was laid back, but committed to a great catch! We booked a 6hr trip and fished 2 spots over that time - about 10/15 min travel time to the first and 30ish to the next, total back about 40ish. We were targeting tarpon, reds and drum, but were early in the season for tarpon. We went on a quick trip with our two young kids (6,9). Captain Rod was very friendly and patient with us and the kids as we went out to get our bait fish. Unfortunately weather didn’t cooperate, so we had to call it short. He made sure we were safe and comfortable. Would highly recommend to families in the area.
