We had an incredible time on our private charter with Righteous Time Inshore Guide Service! Our family of four, including two teens, spent the day fishing the inlets of the Cape Fear River with Captain Chris and First Mate John who were both outstanding hosts on the water.

From the moment we stepped aboard, Captain Chris and John made us feel welcome, safe, and excited for the day ahead. Their knowledge of the area and dedication to finding the fish paid off. We caught a variety and even when things slowed down, they never gave up on helping us land the big one! Their perseverance, patience with the kids, and positive energy made this a trip to remember.

It was a true privilege to support two veterans who clearly love what they do and deliver an exceptional experience. We’ll absolutely book with them again next time we’re in the area!

I booked a day trip with Righteous Times to celebrate my birthday. While they’re primarily a fishing charter, I was pleased to find that their services include touring the area/transport to a beautiful beach. Captain Chris contacted me shortly after I booked to find out what our goal for the day was. I let him know I’d be brining along 2 of my young nieces to enjoy the water and views the east coast had to offer. He and Jon took it from there. They planned out the day for us and kept me informed. We were allowed to bring all the comforts we needed to enjoy our day to include a canopy, camping chairs, a cooler of drinks/food/snacks. The crew also provided safety vests, sunscreen, and water. They brought a camping stove for us to be able to cook hot dogs on the beach.

The ride there and back, Captain Chris would share information about locations as we passed. He and Jon were engaging through out the entire day, even when we split off to do our own thing on the beach, they kept close and ensured we didn’t need anything.

Honestly, even if the crew hadn’t said anything during the ride, it was still incredible to be out there enjoying the views.

The sun, the space, the solitude(the beach was fairly empty) made this trip top tier for me. Not only did we leave tanned and tired, I am content with our choice of charter and will always recommend Righteous Times!

Captain Chris was awesome. He took my mom, my 2 sisters and I out for a day of fishing and we had a blast. He was so friendly, fun to be around, knowledgeable and considerate. We caught some awesome fish and he even took us looking for alligators. He was so generous to keep us out longer than we expected. It was an awesome day. Whenever we are back we will be booking with him! Can’t recommend enough!!!!

This was the most wonderful fishing trip we’ve been on! He was a very determined captain to put us on the best fish and he stayed very attentive with refreshing our bait. Great conversation and lots of information about the local waters and wildlife. This was the highlight of our week long vacation.  Thank you to Captain Chris!
