The guys (grandpa, son, son-in-laws, grandson) had a great time on their 3 hour evening excursion. Even though the fish were not biting that day, the time together, the gorgeous sunset and the first-mate and captain made it a wonderful experience. We’d like to try again next summer.
Captain Dave is great and really put us on the fish! His first mate for our trip was Kyle, who was super with our 9 and 11 year old grand kids. Kyle just graduated from high school and is on his way to UW La Crosse, but he set up the rods and downriggers like a pro. He was also very patient with the kiddos when they were fighting and landing our catch!

We surprised our kids with a 3 hour PM fishing charter. Although we didn't have the same luck as the morning trip had, we snagged two king salmon. It was a foggy but beautiful night on the boat and a core memory for the kids. They can't wait to take another trip in the future!
Captain Dave is pattionate on getting that fish strike ! All the fish don't end up in the box , but action was great ! Definitely will go again !
the fish wasn’t biting very well, towards the end of excursion we finally got a lake trout. I think it was the weather that was against us, it didn’t spoil our time on the lake, plan on doing it again real soon. thank you for the great time you shared with us.
