We reeled in Spanish mackerel as fast as they could reset reels. Ended up with close to 50 on a very windy morning . Great crew with cpt. Nick and his mate Owen. Both were great.
Our family's first offshore fishing trip was one we'll never forget! 🎣 My son caught a sand shark, (my duaghter was beyond excited to pet it!) My boyfriend reeled in a hammerhead (no idea how he will ever top that!), and we even saw dolphins, sea turtles, and stingrays. The Captain (Nick) and First Mate (Max) were absolutely amazing, knowledgeable, fun, and genuinely cared about making sure everyone had a great time. When I started feeling overheated, Nick immediately made sure I was okay, which I really appreciated. We'll definitely be booking with them again next year... although I think I'll be supporting the crew from dry land next time! 😂 Highly recommend! 🦈
wife and teenage kids came along and everyone had a great experience. we fished with nick and max two days in a row but with different type of fishing and they couldn’t have been better to spend the day with. very friendly, personable, knowledgeable, and patient if you are very inexperienced. the fishing was the kighlight of our weeklong carolina beach trip.
The captain had a well organized fiahing excursion designed for success to keep thr kids happy ans enagged. The kids enjoyed the thrilling trip out to see, reeling in thr spanish mackeral. Thr captain and hia first mate we veey knowledgable about all of North Carolina marine life. We also encountefed a large pod of dolphins on the trip—a huge bonus.
Nick and Max took us out to catch some sharks! On board was my husband, myself, our 14 year old and our 2 year old. When looking for a tour I wanted one that was kid friendly. After reading many previous reviews, I chose this one and it definitely didn’t disappoint! We caught a sandshark, several seabass, some spanish mackerel, and some other fish. They were great at communicating what we were doing ahead of time and even stopped to let us see some dolphins! We definitely will book with them again in tbe futrue!
this was our third year with Austin and his amazing crew at Clearly Hooked. other two years were 4hr trips and this year with my kids getting older i decided to try the 6hr trip and it was totally worth it. Both my boys caught amazing fish and the crew was great with them. looking forward to next year definitely booking with them again.
