We had a great trip aboard the Pura Vida charter - we caught a few sharks and a mahi mahi. Cele and John were excellent captains, good fun and clearly knew where the good spots were! Would highly recommend Pura Vida to all anglers.

J’ai réservé une sortie de pêche de 4h le matin pour la fête à mon frère et c’était vraiment une belle expérience. On a attrapé 8 poissons ( thon, barracuda,etc) , et les capitaines étaient très gentils. Ils s’assuraient toujours qu’on allait bien et nous ont même offert à boire. Aucun de nous deux n’avons été malade mais je vous conseil des médicamenrs antinausé puisque les vagues étaient assez intenses!!! Si on retourne en Colombie, on va clairement refaire affaire avec eux. Merci encore pour cette belle avant-midi!!

The captain and his crew were great people and made sure we had a memorable experience. We caught tuna, our first time ever catching something other than catfish and crappie, and I’ve done a lot of fishing. Anyone looking for a first-rate experience with a crew that is experienced, so you’ll feel safe and enjoy the experience, must use Captain David. Pura Vida!

My only reseravation was not going out as far as we have for similar charters advertised on fishing booker which we have done. Although we caught 6 tuna, 5 were small, and one was small/medium. It would have been nice to catch a mahi, or wahoo. I do understand that sometimes you catch, and sometimes you don't. It was still a good overall experience. Not a complaint about the charter, just a reminder to bring anti nausea meds just in case. The waters were very choppy, and this is my first time in my 40 years that I've gotten sea sick. 3/7 of us have never been sea sick until today. David was very communicative during the lead up to the charter. He provided us with a reminder of what to bring, where to meet, and even shared live location for further ease. Apart from some unexpected sea sickness, it was a successful day on the water. I would recommend Daving and John for your fishing excursion!

Trawled for a scored a whole stack of Tuna, Bluefin, yellowfin and Blackfin… Bottom bashed for a while and kept getting smashed my a local species ive never seen before.
