Great day out on the water we caught ling cod and Rock fish. He taught my boys how to handle fish and then when we got back to dock how to fillet and clean them properly. What a great day and thanks for the memories.
My boyfriend and I had a great 5 hour fishing trip. Brandon welcomed us on board, and cared about out safety and comfort. We trolled for salmon for awhile (catching 4) while having great conversation- Brandon is very knowledgeable and could answer every fishing and random question we had. Then finished with some quick jigging or rockfish and we caught 2. Also something very important to us was the treatment of the fish, Brandon has a very good method for dealing with the fish once caught. We would love to come back and will always try and fish with Brandon if available!

Cpt Brandon was fantastic. Not only did we catch fish- and all different kinds- he catered to the attention of everyone on the boat. My oldest son was able to catch 2 new species and land his own Salmon. My youngest was overjoyed to catch multiple rockfish and get a close look at the Sea Lions. We caught Halibut, Ling Cod, he even let the boys bring up one of his crab pods. Having fished his whole life, Brandon was generous with his experience and knowledge. With gratitude, we reflect on a special experience watching “Buddy” -a bald eagle snipe a salmon head mid air. The whole trip was fantastic- five stars

My husband and I have always wanted to fish for Salmon. Brandon was amazing and so knowledgeable about the area. We caught lots of fish, but only kept a few. We were catching Chinook and Rock Cod and ended the day observing a Sea Lion Colony. The boat had all the safety features and the scenery was beautiful. Thank you Brandon for looking out for two very senior anglers. We would do it all over again.

Went fishing during the Herring spawn. 15 minutes bites in we saw a whale breaching and showing us her tail. Caught 4 chinook. Then just when you think it couldn’t get any better, about 30 bald eagles started attacking a herring bait ball driven to the surface by diving birds. Take that National Geographic!! Captain Brandon knows his stuff! Cool bits of information about the people who have lived here forever, the politics of the fisheries, the animals and of course the fish and how to catch them. Brandon is worth more than he’s charging. Can’t wait to come back.

Captain Brandon was amazing, the communication before the charter was spot on with the links for a fishing license and directions to the marina. We dropped crab traps on the way out and then off to fish. Captain Brandon was very knowledgeable about the history of Ucluelet and fishing,we had good conversations and banter during the charter. Boat and gear was in great condition. Would highly recommend Minnesota charters!
