We had a great morning. We all caught fish & really enjoyed the beauty around us. We saw many birds ( we really loved the white pelicans) & the dolphins playing kept us all smiling. Big Al took great care of us. It was a really fun morning out - our adult children & their partners loved it. Thank you, Al, for a peaceful morning, fun fishing & great memories.

    Fun Morning on Mosquito Lagoon

    4 Hour Trip • 4 adults

    We booked a four-hour trip on Tuesday morning and Captain Big Al was there waiting for us on the boat early. We took off and started fishing in a few minutes, catching different fish from the first cast. Big Al took us several different spots and we had luck catching fish at all of them. We also so manatees and dolphins and had a great morning on the water. Big Al was the best!! If you are in New Smyrna Beach and looking for a fun fishing trip, we highly recommend that you book with Big Al.

    We had an amazing first-time charter experience with Captain Big Al!

    4 Hour Trip • 6 adults • 3 children

    My wife, our three kids, and I along with my nefew went out as complete beginners, and Big Al made the whole trip so easy and fun. He worked his butt off the entire time — constantly making sure everyone had a baited hook and helping us cast our lines. He was patient, easy to talk to, and incredibly knowledgeable. Our kids asked a million questions and he answered every single one with a smile. The kids caught fish after fish — a great variety too — and they had an absolute blast. Big Al’s attention and energy made this a trip we’ll never forget. Highly recommend him if you’re looking for a captain who truly takes care of his guests, especially families and first-timers!

    4 Hour Trip • 4 adults

    This 3-hour fishing trip was supposed to be about relaxing, but the fish clearly didn’t get the memo. The kids were reeling them in nonstop, including a huge redfish, a puffer fish that looked permanently surprised, and several other species that apparently wanted to be part of the adventure. Just when we thought it couldn’t get any better, dolphins showed up to inspect our fishing skills, and manatees cruised by like they owned the place. The kids had a blast, the adults had a blast, and even the fish seemed to enjoy the attention. If you’re looking for a family fishing trip filled with action, wildlife, and enough fish stories to last until next vacation, this is it. Highly recommend!

    Big Al’s the Man!

    3 Hour Quick Trip • 4 adults • 2 children

    Big Al was fantastic—exactly what you hope for on a family fishing trip. He was incredible with our kids, kept them engaged the entire time, and made sure everyone was having fun from start to finish. We had nonstop action and were catching fish the whole trip—probably around 10 each—which was perfect for keeping the kids excited. We caught a great variety including whiting, pinfish, and jacks, plus even a stingray and a blue crab, which the kids thought was awesome. On top of the fishing, we also saw manatees and jumping rays, which made the whole experience even more memorable. Big Al was also just really fun to be around—easy to talk to, entertaining, and clearly knows exactly what he’s doing out there. Highly recommend Big Al, especially for families with kids. We’d absolutely book with him again. Thanks Al, we will see you next year!

    The one that did’t get away

    2 hour inshore • 2 adults

    Within minutes of leaving the dock we had our lines in the water. Al baited and casted for us as we caught about 6 different varieties of fish. Then the BIG SPLASH and it was “Fish On!”. It was a big stingray which Al estimated to be about 40lbs. This fish was a fig hter and breached the water multiple times trying to release the hook. After 30 minutes we decided it was time to let it go. Al manuvered his boat into perfect position giving is advise along the way. Excellent adventure that we will talk about for years. Thank you Al
