My family did a 6 hour trip with Captain Cody and had a great time! The weather and wind didn’t cooperate to do the typical trip, but Cody had a plan for the weather and still made the day a success. Captain Cody is awesome. Got up early and worked hard to find some elusive bait for us. Was patient with all three of our kiddos and helped them all get hooked up on multiple species of fish. Everyone had a blast. Cody stayed engaged the whole trip and told us history of the area as we switched spots. We caught snook, snapper, catfish, redfish, and jack crevalle. Everything about the trip was top notch. Would not hesitate to book again if we are in town!!

Captain Cody did a great job with a crew of 6 first timers. He provided great coching and commentary regarding fish types and fishing style. The kids felt entirely safe and had a wonderful time. The youngest caught the most, the oldest caught the biggest and everyone caught something! We will return to enjoy Straw Hats Fishing Charters and Captain Cody!

This was our second trip with Captain Cody and it was Christmas Eve. There were two of us and we fished hard all day and caught lots of different species. I think we caught eight different in total. Cody fishes really hard and we really enjoy his expertise and how easy he is to get along with. We already have another trip planned for Tarpon season in June!
