The four of us spent a wonderful afternoon on the lake fishing, learning about the area and talking to the captain. We heard about the history of the Lake Taupo and its fish, and the region in general. WE had a great trout dinner to top the day off.
what can i sat excellent 3 hour trip with a very experienced captain lots of history of the lake and surrounding topography . managed to catch 3 rainbow trout very happy will book again when i return 😀
Miserable gloomy day - caught 2 fish. Captain tried everything to try to catch more. Wasnt to be - but great day and good memories made with family. Second trip on this boat - will bookagain.
We are a group of 6 but 4 of us were fishing. The trip started on time with the introduction and safety messages. We were shown how to release the rigg into the water and explained how the system works. We caught enough to bring home and released a few. The captain took good care of us till we returned to the berth.
