  Great first time trip with kids!

  Half Day Trip on June 5, 2026 • 5 adults • 3 children

  We had a blast fishing with Captain Steve. Coming from Colorado, this was a new type of fishing for us. He was very patient and engaging with our 3 kids. ( 7, 9 and 12). The boat was very safe and clean. Our ride out to the bay we saw alot of sea birds and a couple of dolpins. We caught a variety of fish and stop in various locations. Captain Steve was knowledgeable of the area and not pushy. He was very helpful making sure we had bait and unhooking the fish. It was nice having help with our 2 young girls, which gave us time to enjoy fishing ourselves. We wished we had time on this trip to book another trip! Definitely, recommend Captain Steve especially if you have small anglers or those new to fishing. Thank you again, Captain Steve.

  Half Day Trip on August 14, 2026 • 3 adults

  Captain Stephen made the trip relaxing. He was easy to talk to and great at explaining things. You can tell that to him you aren’t just another paying customer, and that he loves and enjoys doing this! Which is huge. He took us out to a spot and my boys and myself were catching fish right away; and after things slowed down offshore he took us to do some inshore fishing by a dock, and right away we were pulling fish in!!! I would highly recommend him, and will definitely use him again when we come back!!

  We had an absolutely incredible experience with this fishing charter from start to finish! The captain was knowledgeable, friendly, and clearly passionate about what he does. He took the time to explain everything, from the equipment to the local fishing spots, and made sure everyone on board felt comfortable and confident.   “My Girls Adventures” with Captain Stephen Drenth went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic fishing charter. He was busy from start to finish, with nonstop, hook, baiting, hustling to make sure we didn’t have any downtime. he drove us around to multiple locations to make sure we were catching fish the whole time. (even when we were catching fish, he move us around to catch a variety of fish, which was on my husband’s wish list.) he checked all the boxes! Stephen was very professional, knowledgeable, and patient with our large group. We were so impressed we booked another trip for two days later! As a person who checks a lot of reviews, before buying – I do my homework. (You can save yourself a lot of time and just book your trip with this great captain!) He was less concerned with making money from this charter trip then giving us a good and successful experience – encouraging us to switch dates so that the weather would be more favorable.

  Captain Steve is awesome!

  I live in Colorado and was headed to Tampa to visit friends. I wanted to do some fishing in the Gulf. Capt Steve listened to our requests and set up an awesome day. He has us on a bite all trip. He had plenty of hot spots to move us to if things started to slow. We booked a 3/4 day and it was perfect. My son hooked a gag grouper that was over 20". by the end of the trip we were satisfied and with a full bag. He cleaned them and even offered up a local restaurant that would cook our catch if we wanted. Excellent trip, and if I am back in Tampa and looking to fish. I will be calling Steve first to check availability.
