Best Fishing Trip Hands Down

Kids Trip - 8:00 AM3 adults2 children

Booked the 3 hour kids charter for my 5/yo son and 12/yo nephew. Capt Keith was phenomenal. He was able to connect with the kids and kept them smiling and entertained. Surprisingly, I never once hear, “Dad, I’m bored.” No joke, no lie- we had a bite on EVERY SINGLE CAST! As soon as the bait would hit the bottom and we’d start reeling in, fish on! First cast (and every for that matter) on both sides had fish on. We hit our limit on vermillion snapper in 1.5 hours. I’m afraid this trip has spoiled future charters for the kids (they’re going to expect to catch fish like this every time now lol). Thank you Capt Keith, you were great! I’ll never book another trip out of PCB with any other Captain!

    he put us on fish right away

    5 Hour — Bottom Fishing/Trolling • 3 adults

    he messaged me early in the morning that the weather was iffy and wanted to see if we wanted to reschedule, but we could not reschedule because our trip was short. So he said he would do the best he can maybe stay in shore and do a little bit of offshore, depending on the weather, but the weather did calm down and we ended up getting to go offshore. He put us on fish right away, the only keeper was a Spanish mackerel, but we caught several grouper and trigger fish and a red snapper. And we caught several Bonita, but the craziest thing is he had mentioned sail fish, and I thought he was joking, but towards the end of the trip when me and my son were ready to head back in because it was getting hot he literally put us on a 6 foot plus sailfish. We fought it for like probably 45 minutes and the stupid thing is, he hooked us a double so I was fighting a big Bonita while my son was fighting in over 6 foot sailfish so we don’t have any good pictures or video lol but yeah, he is a man and I would not hesitate to book a trip with him…. !!!!

    Great family trip

    5 Hour — Bottom Fishing/Trolling • 4 adults • 1 child

    We had an incredible trip with Old Town Charters and Captain Keith. I went fishing with my family, and Captain Keith could not have been more friendly, patient, or helpful. He took the time to make sure everyone was comfortable, involved, and having a great time throughout the entire trip. We caught a lot of fish and several different species, including red snapper, mangrove snapper, triggerfish, and multiple grouper. Afterward, we took our catch to a local restaurant and had it prepared for us, and it was excellent. From start to finish, this was exactly the kind of fishing trip you hope for. Captain Keith clearly knows what he’s doing, but what really stood out was how well he treated my family and how much effort he put into making sure everyone enjoyed themselves. I honestly could not have asked for a better day on the water. Highly recommend Old Town Charters and Captain Keith to anyone looking for a fun, family-friendly fishing trip. We would absolutely book with him again.

    Captain Keith!!!

    4 Hour Trip — Captain's Choice - 12:00 PM • 4 adults

    Came down to 30A for a large family vacation so we booked Captain Keith about 3-4 months in advance. Weather became a point of contention but Captain called me the day before letting me know the situation and what we were able to safely do for our trip. Due to high winds we couldnt get out of the Bay but he let us know what it eas going to look like. Cap Keith was amazing and got us on fish even as the fish reports were coming in low. My father in law, brother in law and his dad all had such an amazing time fishing with Keith. We will be back for sure.

    Kids trip was perfect

    3 Hour Trip — Kids Special • 3 adults • 2 children

    I brought my six-year-old daughter out for the three hour kids trip and it was incredible. The captain did an amazing job at teaching her how to fish and putting us on fish that were within her skill level. The boat was super clean and super safe. We got on fish almost immediately and stayed on fish the entire time. There was no pressure and a lot of really fun ways to learn about fishing. I will 100% be booking again and hopefully every year that I come down to Florida.

    Fun Morning

    Family Fun Excursion • 2 adults

    We had a great morning with Keith, he was very nice and great at directing my son on what to do. My 13 year old really wanted to go fishing and saved up for this trip. He caught a very large king mackerel. The weather has been stormy the last few days and we did not have much luck after the first fish. Overall we had a great time out on the water. This fish was by far larger than anything my son expected to catch. We would definitely love to go again.
