Had a great time with Capt. Jake. He was super knowledgeable about both the fish and surrounding waters. Went for four hours and caught a bunch of Red Fish with my son and a friend. Would definitely recommend this trip to folks visiting Gulf Shores! Look forward to coming back!
That was a awesome trip. Please come fish with us again.
Jake was a great captain. First time for our little ones and he helped all the way through. We landed some really big ones and a few that got away, but Jake corrected some of the issues we were having (our technique) and we landed some monsters! Great overall experience. Waves started to get a bit higher and captain correctly called for an end due to safety concerns. All had a blast, caught limits and most importantly all were safe. Great first time experience for our little ones and the captain did it all right. Would recommend this to anyone wanting to catch big fish far out.
Thank you for choosing the Lil Red for your fishing trip.
Captain Jake did an outstanding job of explaining how to catch our fish, taking us to great spots, and setting us up for success. Fortunately the fish were biting and we caught our limit within the first hour. He then took us to other locations to catch other fish for us to catch and keep. My wife was a first time fisher and he was quick to bait and cast for her all throughout our trip. My dad and I have been multiple times and we both agreed it was the best trip we have ever taken. I’ll only ever fish with Red Eye Charter whenever I’m back in the area
Thank you so much. Hope you can come back soon.
Captain Jake was awesome. tropical depression off the gulf caused an slow start. Captain Jake kept us moving and kept us feeling like fishing. Watched several Charters leave the are and bring home little to no catch. Captain Jake and the Little Red put us on fish on a tough day and we took home enough fish to feed this family of 5 with leftovers for the next day. Thanky you Red Eye. Kids from 12-21 all had a blast and everyone landed fish thanks to Jake!
Thank you for fishing with us on the Lil Red.
Jake was our captain for our trip. We did a 11am 4 hour trip. Jake had our lines in the water and catching fish with in moments of baiting our hooks. When the bites slowed down, Jake moved us to several spots and kept us on fish all four hours. Jake was very knowledgeable of the waters, depth and what to expect or fish and how they would respond. All in All we had a great time and would highly recommend this company for your fishing trip.
Thanks you for fishing wirh Red Eye Charters - Lil Red. Hope to see you again.
Captain Jake is one of the best charter captains Ive met. I took out just me and my 11 yr old son and Capt Jake not only put us on some honkin sheepshead almost immediately, but what I appreciated even more was his personable demeanor. He was especially helpful with my son (and even me from time to time) and we had a blast, learned a lot, and walked away with a full cooler. 10/10 recommend Red Eye with Capt Jake.
Jake is the man. Thank you for fishing with Red Eye Charters on the Lil Red.
