  Booked with Capt Scotty and had a great time. His boat was nice and well kept. Capt Scotty is very friendly and a good conversationalist. We enjoyed the sights on a beautiful day on the water. We only caught one fish. We tried lots of different baits and locations but the fish just werent biting. Reports from surrounding anglers matched our experience too. Sometimes you swing and miss. Like the title says, that’s why they call it fishing and not catching. I wouldnt hesitste booking with him again.

  Wonderful trip!

  My boys and I had a wonderful day out on the water. It was nice to move every so often to keep things interesting and we were all excited when we caught something. Captain Rich was great at answering questions and telling us what was going on. We wish we could have caught a few more fish but we were able to bring a flounder and pompano home and fixed it for dinner. Would definitely recommend to friends and will likely rebook in the future!

  Half Day Trip – Backwater on August 11, 2026 • 4 adults • 2 children

  Captain Rich was great! He was friendly and attentive and his boat was stalked with everything we needed. We went to 4 different locations and caught something at 3/4 despite the hot weather (88/sunny/Aug 8-12 trip.) My boys really enjoyed it and Cap Rich answered all the questions they were asking. We caught flounder, toadfish, stingrays and a skate! Would definetly book again.

  An outstanding trip with Captain Rich! The boat was top notch, everything was well kept and clean including the fishing equipment. Rich was a tremendous host for our excursion. We caught shark and blue crab making for excellent memories and fun stories. We would highly recommend- five star review!!

  Used Scotty’s a few years a go…great experience…came back this summer to try again…had Dustin as captain…unbelievable demeanor for a young guy…caught enough flounder for dinner tonight…he was great with my two grandsons ages 3 and 10…..next year gonna request him again
