We couldn’t have asked for a better day on the water! None of the four of us had ever been fishing before, but Captain Alex and first mate Travis made the entire experience seamless, safe, and unforgettable.
Captain Alex was fantastic and incredibly accommodating from start to finish, finding great spots and keeping the energy high. We probably peppered them with more than 100 questions and both Alex and Travis were right there with us every step of the way, showing us the ropes and making sure everyone in our group was comfortable and having a blast.
The fishing action was nonstop. We practiced 100% catch-and-release and managed to reel in an amazing variety: three sharks (a baby blacknose shark, a blacknose, and a spinner), along with a toadfish and a sea bass. Getting to hook into sharks on our very first outing was an absolute rush.
To top it all off, the wildlife sightings were incredible—we spotted two sea turtles gliding past and had multiple dolphins swimming alongside us throughout the trip.
