Captain Sean is great. He does his best to put you on fish and is not hesitant to switch spots or tackle. He suggests things but leaves the decisions up to the guests (i.e. moving spots). Very relaxed and patient with kids.
We had an amazing experience with Captain Sean on his Blazer 2400! The boat itself was beautiful, clean, and super comfortable. Perfect for a relaxing day out on the water. This was an inshore/bay charter, and Captain Sean really knew what he was doing. We spent time fishing around docks, and the action was consistent. Everyone in our group caught fish, which made it especially fun for the kids. He was patient, attentive, and made sure everyone felt included and had a great time. One of the highlights was catching a 24” trout that we ended up cooking for dinner that same night, such a full-circle experience! Captain Sean even filleted our fish for us, which made everything so easy. Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. If you’re looking for a fun, family friendly fishing charter with a knowledgeable and personable captain, we highly recommend Captain Sean. We’ll definitely be booking again!
Great trip today in Santa Rosa Sound! Can’t recommend Sean highly enough. no redfish bighting today but speckled trout made it fun. Saw some dolphins. Our group had as young as seven and his old as 78 years old. Great trip for kids and adults. Bring your own drinks and snacks, plenty of sunscreen, hats, and sunglasses. And enjoy the scenery! We would definitely use Sean again next year.
This was a first time trip for us, Sean was absolutely great! He brought us to the fish & helped us manage to reel in a few. If fish weren’t biting in one spot, he took us to another. We had a fantastic fishing trip with Captain Sean! The weather presented some challenges, but Sean was excellent at communicating with us throughout the day and worked hard to get us out on the water as soon as conditions allowed. His flexibility made the whole experience stress-free. We had my 9-year-old with us and Sean kept her engaged the entire trip, patiently answered all of our questions, and made sure everyone was having a great time. His knowledge of the area was great, and it definitely paid off—we caught lots of fish! If you’re looking for a knowledgeable, friendly captain who truly cares about providing a great experience, I highly recommend Captain Sean. We had an amazing time and would absolutely book with him again.
Great experience!! Captain Sean and his 24’ bay boat were just right for a windy day on the sound. Felt safe even with some pretty big rollers. The grown kids loved sitting up high in the loft. I appreciated that we would readily move if not catching and we got on some speckled trout early. But the second half we got on some massive redfish around the pylons. We caught atleast 10! 22”, 23” and a whopper 27”!! Dewy Destin’s then fixed us up with a catch n cook…Amazing!
