The boat was fine and the two mates were great. However, when they took us inside the cabin for instructions and closed the door it was hot and the water was tossing the boat so much that 3 of us got sick and had to vomit multiple times. The 3 other adults also felt queasy. It would have been better to leave us outside for the instructions.

Oh Henry we are so sorry that y’all felt seasickness. That is definitely not fun. We did not realize y’all were hot. The air conditioning was on and functioning but apparently not cool enough for you. We are happy to hear you enjoyed Matt and Jordan. We think they are pretty cool. We know you have many options in Destin and thank you for trying the Big John of Florida.

We had an amazing experience with Big John Charter Fishing! The boat was in excellent shape, extremely clean, and very comfortable for our family. The cool cabin was especially important for our younger children and made the trip much more enjoyable during the heat of the day. Came for a family trip including three generations! We have nothing but great things to say about our experience today! The boat was clean and in excellent shape. The crew was knowledgeable and super helpful. We had a great time! Caught lots of red snapper which was expertly cleaned up for us at the end of the day. Highly recommend as an experience you won’t forget!

What a great crew and boat! The captain put us on the fish and we bowed up and caught a ton of grouper, snapper, trigger fish, amberjack and a huge shark! We would most definitely recommend anyone looking for a great boat and crew to go fishing with, it would be with the Big John!
