It was a bit of a tough bite and my son is VERY new to fishing but Joseph was super patient and kept after it until he got us on some nice smallmouth. I was thrilled but more importantly my son had an amazing experience.

Joe is a very knowledgeable guide with the best electronics, boat and gear one could wish for. We were anticipating bright sunny conditions and wind on a lake, but the wind held off for the most part. We caugh several smaller largemouth and smallies, the I caught a 2.5-3# small mouth at the end of our trip. I had never fished with a side-scanning (hand-controlled) transducer, but it was a game changer. As Joe said when I asked about it when we launched, "If you ain't Scopin', you're just hoping"! it does not guarantee a catch, but it's SO cool to see what they are doing to the bait fish. Hire Joe, you won't regret it!

My son and I wanted to do a little fishing while in Maine visiting Acadia. Joe was friendly and certainly knew the lake, as my son was reeling in bass within minutes of stopping at our first spot. Joe's new boat was pristine and had plenty of room. We enjoying chatting with Joe, learning about the area, taking in the beautiful sites, and reeling in a good amount of fish. Would definitely ride with Joe again!

We had an amazing time on this fishing trip! Captain Joe was knowledgeable, friendly, and made sure we felt comfortable and had a great experience. The boat was clean and well-equipped, and we caught plenty of fish throughout the day. The scenery was beautiful, and the whole trip was relaxing and fun from start to finish. In spite of some less than favorable weather, we got out on the water quickly and caught a bunch of fish. Captain Joe was insightful and very helpful. Highly recommend!
