its a small group so you dont have to wait for help/attention like on bigger vessels. the crew was knowledgeable, funny, and had great attitudes. conditions out werent great outside but they still found a way to get us some good catches.
i did a September trip off season-NP i caught one blackfin Tuna and the other 3 caught some yellow tail 4 hour trip was perfect originally scheduled for Tuesday but needed to be Thursday- NP i don’t understand how 2 out of 4 of us didn’t tip the mate HORRIBLE The 2 were complaining before we started Anyway, 2 stupid fisherman shouldn’t ruin it Take care of the mate 20 percent tip is low to what he deserves Captain Gil was always it touch ahead of time Definitely recommend
We had an awesome 6 hour charter fishing trip aboard the Conchenstein with Capt. Ron and Roscoe. The water was calm, the fishing was great, and we landed a 36 inch barracuda along with some mackerel and several other types of fish. The crew treated us very well from start to finish and were informative, friendly, and clearly experienced. They worked hard to keep us on fish and made the entire trip enjoyable for everyone. Overall, it was a fantastic charter experience and we would absolutely recommend Capt. Ron and Roscoe to anyone looking to fish in the Keys.
We joined two trips with Captain Steve and Wahoo Will, and both were fantastic. We caught tuna on the first day and six mahi mahi on the second! Beyond the great fishing, what really stood out was Captain Steve's friendly personality and the interesting information he shared throughout the trip. Wahoo Will was nonstop from start to finish, hardworking, attentive, and always ready to help. A perfect Key West fishing experience. We’ll sure fish with them again!
Went out with Capt. Petey and Roscoe on the 29th Dec. We started out trolling inside the reef and caught a great amount of Spanish and Cero mackerel. Once we'd filled the cooler we headed outside the reef to slow troll for hopefully some snapper and grouper. We had a couple mutton just shy of keeper and some more mackerel. All in all a great charter, Roscoe didn't stop the whole trip, constantly working the rods and baiting up, we didn't have to do a thing except enjoy catching fish. Would definitely book again, and recommend to others!
went out on a full day fishing and landed a couple large amberjacks known as reef donkeys.they will wear your arms out and test your will.the first mate was very good and kept the lines clean of sargasm or seaweed that was making his day long but he never gave up and had fishing skills that he used that i have never seen before and he was relentless to get the fish on for us to wear our arms out. i am sorry that i forgot the first mates name but i highly recommend him.
