Capt Derek and his co-captain Larry were super knowledgable and a great time to hang around with, not to mention the 8 monster lake trout we caught with their killer setup. Would recommend to anyone looking for good lake fishing. Will be back when up here again.
Captain Derek was terrific! And his boat was amazing too! Our trip out onto Lake Ontario was delighful - he and his Mate Sarah worked hard to get the boat ready for serious fishing. I loved his set-ups and his his gear. The boat is really well-equipped for great fishing. Our day went well - pretty quiet at the start. But Captain Derek was tuned in to how deep we were fishing, changed out some of our lures - and went deeper. And the fish came in! We boated a beautiful big brown trout (huge) and three salmon (in the 15 Lb range), Just fantastic fun. We talked nonstop aboiut what he was doing and why. Talked about the fish and the lake. And then he fileted our catch and we went home very happy and satisfied. It was a beautifully run fishing trip. We would go out with him anytime. Wonderful.
First time doing an afternoon trip with my work crew. Was way better than expected. The captain put us on fish for almost the whole trip! We should have caught almost double what we did but that was due to our own amateur mistakes! Would definitely go back to this charter.

We had a great time, Cap. Derek knows what he’s doing. Great guys to be around, lots of story telling, really cool crew. 10/10, would reccommend this to other people and will be returning myself!
Insane afternoon on the lake with 8 fish on the boat! 3 species caught chinook, lake trout and brown trout . the Captain and the crew are really pro and super nice ! A must have experience
