Captan Jon Delivers
We had an outstanding day on the water with Captain Jon. There were five of us, and from start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations. The boat was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, making for a great experience before we even dropped a line in the water. Captain Jon worked hard all day to put us on fish. He was upfront that the Spanish mackerel hadn't really arrived yet, but we gave it a shot and managed to catch one. When it became clear the bite wasn't where he wanted it to be, he quickly adjusted the plan and took us shark fishing—and that's when the action really started. We caught several different species of sharks, including two massive 60-inch blacktips that put up incredible fights and made for some unforgettable memories. It was obvious that Jon knew exactly where to go and what to do to keep us on fish. As a bonus, Captain Jon filleted some of the shark for us, and we cooked it back at our Airbnb that evening. It was absolutely delicious and a perfect way to cap off an amazing day. If you're looking for a knowledgeable, hardworking captain who is focused on making sure his guests have a great experience, we highly recommend Captain Jon. We'll definitely be booking another trip with him the next time we're back in Hilton Head!
