My family had a great time fishing with Dan on his boat. He was patient and very helpful teaching my sons different fishing styles. I would highly recommend him for a family excursion. We are all novice fishers and he was super helpful teaching us.

Captain Dan is everything you can ask for in a guide. He knew the area, his equipment was well maintained, and when conditions were tough he had a backup plan. The weather (wind) was not cooperating with my requests of target species and it took a few stops to find active fish. Once we were on the fish he made sure to keep me equipped. Sea fish can tear through bait, artificials and leaders. There was always a backup at the ready. We started catching Speckled Trout, when that died down we trolled and I caught an awesome Grouper, fished structure and caught mangrove snapper and grunt, then we finished off on a school of what we think were spanish mackerel as they cut through hefty leaders. I couldnt ask for more. When i fish i am not there to watch dolphins and snack - Captain Dan pushed the pace exactly as I wanted. I have been on many group charters and a private is a stretch for me. Very thankful I chose wisely.

Captain Daniel was amazing! This Captain is great for first timers, young, and old! Whether you are a first timer or a seasoned angler, this trip has so much to offer. Daniel was knowledgeable, considerate, and accomodating. Our trip included fish within the first 10 minutes, he knew all the spots. We also enjoyed a lovely island and had an overall great time! 10/10 recommend and we would do it again! Thanks again Captain Daniel!!
Our family of three went on a fishing excursion as part of our vacation and had a great time. We all learned a lot about fishing and caught enough for fish tacos later in the day. Captain Dan was incredibly thoughtful and kind, offering snacks sunscreen and water, playing a custom music playlist based on an offhand comment (good listener), and working hard to provide the best outcome and most enjoyable experience. 10/10 highly recommend!
We knew fishing in January was a long-shot but decided to try anyway. We booked a very last minute 3-hr trip with Captain Dan and he showed us a great time! He commumicated well ahead of our reservation, had a convenient pick up/drop off point, had all supplies needed plus a cooler of drinks on board. Capt Dan is friendly and very knowledgable. He brought us to multiple spots and really tried to get all 3 of us on fish. Ultimately, my 15 yo son hooked a shark, which was very unexpected but a cool experience for him! We plan to try another trip with Capt Dan when the weather is better.
As this was our first family charter it went amazing. Captain Dan did great from start to finish. From snacks to pulling fish off the lines. If we weren't getting bites he would get us moved to location to make it happen. truely was a show up and fisch experience. Thank you Captain my family and myself will definitely remember this trip for many many years to come.
