We had a gorgeous sightseeing trip for the first couple of hours. The views were amazing! Then we went fishing for several hours and caught so many fish we lost count! Captain Eric was a great guy and his fishing boat was very impressive. We’re looking forward to coming back next year. Thank you for such an incredible experience! We highly recommend.
I fished with Eric 5/14/2026. A beautiful day . Right off , at the dock I was impressed with his boat and equipment .Top notch , all well maintained. We started out fishing for Kokanee and were pretty much into fish all morning. Though I didn't keep track, I know I caught 20 plus . When a very large lake trout tried to inhale a Kokanee I was reeling in only to let go by the boat, we decided to fish for lake trout . In less than 15 minutes I boated a 33 inch 19 pound laker which I released and then a nice "eating size" 25 inches which I kept. All in all a great day. I normally don't do guided trips but Eric did a great job and I hope to fish with him again.

Eric was a great guide. We chose to fish for Kokanee rather than Lake Trout. He knew where they were, and we had slow, but steady success throughout the day. When our time was up, and we were a little short of our limits, he extended the time so that we all caught our limits. Eric was, pleasant, competent, and professional. He couldn’t have done a better job.
The fishing was very slow yet captain Eric was optimistic and persistent. He instructed and guided with kindness and great knowledge about the lake and local fishing. The experience was very enjoyable and at the very end we finally caught a real lunker. Any other guide would have been packing up 10 min before the time slot was over. Big credit of a lifetime memory goes to captain Eric. Thank you. We’re coming back for sure!
We caught about 7-8 pups in Flaming Gorge. Captain was very nice and hands on. His boat was well equipped with the fishing gear needed. We met at the marina and had no issues finding each other. He was a good guide who wanted us to catch the big one! Great experience for my husband and I! Thanks captain woody!
