Waves were terrible a couple people in our group got super sick. However for the hour we were fishing they were coming in right after another. Having a great dinner tonight. Capt. Mike was great.
it was unfortunate the girls weren't feeling well because the fishing was very good. hopefully the weather cooperates in ext time .
Captain Mike took me and my family (including my 6 year old daughter) out following some rough windy/weather and made Lake Erie eye fishing look easy in challenging conditons. We boated a limit of perfect eater fish (16-23” for all 5 of us). You can count on Mike (Hookin Hogs) for a great, family friendly fishing adventure!
Captain Mike is the man. He joked with us before we left that Erie is the Walleye fishing capital of the world, only it was no joke. We didn't have our lines in the water long before my two brothers and I we're pulling them in left and right while Mike was constantly resetting the lines and yelling "Fish On" seemingly seconds after we had just got the last one in the boat. While you can never guarantee a successful fishing trip, Mike definitely put us in the best possible position to have a busy day and we were out and back in a little over 2 hours with our full limit of fish. An awesome day and we were extremely grateful!

great day and we caught our limit. for our first trip on lake Erie , wouldn’t change anything . captain mike was super good with us, we were all newbies. his patience is admirable . fish fry tonight!
Captain Mike had us on fish fast! Several bigger walleye (28.5” was the biggest of the day caught by my buddy’s boy!) and lots of great eaters. The boat and equipment was top notch. We’ll definitely be back!
