  The #1 goal when booking our trip was catching fish and Alejandro and his crew did not disappoint. With the odds stacked against us, (rainy season, storms to the left & right) Alejandro had us on fish within the first 30 minutes. First a mackerel, then bonita followed by a plethora of Mahi. Alejandro and his team put on a clinic on how to catch fish. During our trip we landed 20+ fish, catching nearly every species that Costa Rica had to offer. Alejandro even hooked us on the elusive wahoo & sailfish. Sadly we were unable to land them but getting to fight them and watching them jump was a thing of beauty. If you are looking for an outfit who will do whatever it takes to put you on fish look no further!

  Full Day Trip on June 19, 2026 • 4 adults

  Despite a cloudy start, we ended up having an incredible day on the water. We caught fish long after we were tired of reeling them in—tuna, mahi-mahi, trout, and more. We landed over seven mahi-mahi and more than 30 fish overall, releasing many and still bringing home plenty for the weekend. The crew was patient, professional, and made the experience exciting from start to finish. They even filleted and bagged all of our fish for us. I've been on fishing charters in several countries, and this was easily one of the best charter experiences I've ever had. Highly recommended.

  Amazing family trip

  Half Day Trip on July 11, 2026 • 4 adults • 1 child

  We are in Costa Rica as a family for the first time. Family of 4 and we decided to go fishing. Alejandro and his mate Chopa were friendly, informative and got us on the fish! Alejandro speaks perfect English and we talked about fishing, family and the beauty of Costa Rica. We did the half day trip and we brought in 2 yellowfin, 3 mahi mahi, 2 mackeral and a 'Bonita' tuna. Would absolutely recommend Alejandro and his boat!

  Full Day Trip on May 21, 2026 • 4 adults

  Are in CR for a special trip for my son who is graduating. Me and my three boys went out for a full day offshore. Our two main targets were Mahi and Sailfish. My son who was graduating has always wanted to catch a self fish. We got some beautiful Mahi, a bunch of Rainbow Runner (the most delicious fish I’ve ever eaten) and to top it off, my son won an 18 minute fight with a a spirited Sailfish!

  fantasic trip

  family fishing day in Costa Rica with a great captain and mate. fishing was a little slow, but captain and mate couldn't have worked any harder to put us on the fish. We did catch more than the other boats. We did end up catching some Rainbow Runner and the biggest Red Snapper. overall a great day on the water, and will definitely be back to book with Alejandro.
