We had a great time fishing with captain Matt. I highly recommend the the 7am departure and 3 hr slot in the summer heat. We were catching fish the entire time of all varitey and size.

Thank you for the review of your trip. We had a short time to get some fish and you nailed it. The Cobia that showed up did not cooperate but the grouper kept us busy for sure. I hope to get you out again next time you are in town. It was a pleasure fishing with you.

    great fishing trip and experience

    3 Hour Quick Catch Adventure • 4 adults • 1 child

    overall great time with the family, caught fish consistently and captain Matt was great with my 7 year old son as well as the the rest of us. we caught mostly Grunt but also caught mangrove snappers, some red groupers, a puffer fish, a lady fish, hooked onto some other larger fish a few times that snapped the line unfortunately. I would definitely recommend this trip to others, we did the 3 hour nearshore trip and it was perfect. if going wothut kids I'd definitely recommend at least the 4 hr trip, if you have young ones the 3 seemed just right at least for us.

    Too many fish, not enough time!

    2 Hour Private Fishing Charter • 2 adults

    We originally booked 2 hours and quickly realized it wasn’t enough time to fully enjoy everything. The experience flew by, and there was still so much we wanted to do without feeling rushed. Upgrading to 4 hours would make a huge difference — it would allow us to relax longer, take our time, and really get the full value of what was offered. If you’re on the fence, I’d strongly recommend going with 4 hours from the start. It’s absolutely worth it.

    Glad you guys had a great time out there! That 2-hour trip is a fun way to get a quick taste, but it definitely goes by fast—especially when the bite is on. Next time we’ll get you set up on a 4-hour so we can really settle in, hit a few more spots, and keep the action going longer. Looking forward to having you back out!

    Great family fishing trip!!!

    My wife, her sister and brother-in-law had an awesome time. Captain Matt was very personable... He took us to a spot the even the wife caught fish!!! Cpt Mike was very patient with us and insured we had a great day on the water... If your looking for a family oriented fishing trip, Cpt Matt is a great choice!!!

    Caught a tiger shark along with an abundance of fish we brought home!

    Matt came well prepared bringing us water and sunscreen, he took us to awesome spots were we caught grunts, mangrove snappers, groupers, hogfish, and pufferfish. We even ran into cobias and I got the experience to reel in a tiger shark!

    Capt. Matt Is Terrific!

    Matt was very courteous, helpful, and did everything in his power to make my wife and I comfortable. He called ahead of the trip to introduce himself and answer any and all questions we might have before the trip. On the day of the trip he put us on fish right away, and the bite never faded! We brought home plenty of fish to enjoy. I would recommend Captain Matt without hesitation!!
