Went with my two sons on a private trip. Most professional captain and crew with top of the range equipment.We caught skipjack tuna and enjoyed watching how these guys work.No other fishing trip has compared to this.It was he highlight of our holiday.
I booked this fishing trip for myself and my 2 children having no fishing experience. My children are 10 and 13 years old, the crew were really patient and helpful with them. they asked us whst we’d like to fish for and we all agreed that we’d rather have more fish than 1 massive one. .So we went to a few different spots catching all kinds of species. then we spent the last 45 min trawling for tuna and marlin. spotting whales dolphins and a huge turtle was the icing on the cake for us. If you’re considering booking with kids with no experience id definitely give this crew a try we had a really good afternoon.
This is my 2nd time on this boat , took my dad this time. we were given options and advice of fishing but we opted to risk it and go for the risky marlin. 3 hours in and we hit lucky. was on the seat for 33 mins reeling in what captain lubin discribed as being a possible 550 lb blue marling . with a 10-20% chance of catching one we had a bit of luck and i caught a once in a lifetime fish . havi guiding me all the way when the fish was on . A great team , a great boat and a great fish. will definately be back again
It was truly unforgettable experience! In the early December 2025 we booked couple of days to fish at Canary Islands to celebrate our 50s birthday. This was our first ocean fishing experience. Fishing Booker app suggested multiple options, and our choice fell onto RodFather due to the reviews and photos shared in the profile. Must i say, it was wonderful couple of days! With crew guidance we caught several trophy-size fish. On the boat everything was ready for us: the fishing rod, the bates, and the replenished fridge. We did not have high expectations, and catching 3kg barracuda and sometime later 2 amberjacks, 10 and 30kg, was already massive success for us. For the second day in the afternoon it was decided to try our luck with tuna. You will never forget how it feels to hook and hold a tuna. And we managed to catch 30kg long-fin tuna hooked and pulled. Crew was very friendly and supportive throughout the experience. For an experienced or fresh fisherman who would like to try their luck in Atlantic waters of Tenerife, we can confidently recommend going with RodFather.
We unfortunately didn't catch anything of any size, but it wasn't for lack of trying - the crew did all they could in numerous different spots with different bait and techniques - it just wasn't our day. But it was a fun morning out on the water and the boat, equipment, and crew were first rate and really did a good job with my 9 yr. old grandson to show him the ropes. Thanks Rodfather! Will book again next time in Tenerife.
first time sea fishing and had a blast, unfortunately we didnt catch anything but it wasn't from the lack of trying, captain was putting us on the fish but they just weren't biting. first mate was great aswell and would fully recommend using the Rodfather to anyone who wants to go sea fishing. Deffo 5 star experience 🌟 🌟 🌟🌟🌟
