Capt Aaron is outstanding. We've done charters with several Captains and Tightlines is top notch. Captain is personable, knowledgeable and knows how to find the fish. We had such a good time we are coming back next week. Definitely recommend.
It was a honeymoon trip for my wife and I. Despite weather shutting down Hatteras, Aaron picked us up off the beach on Ocracoke. We caught bluefish and spanish mackerel. We attempted shark fishing and thought we had hooked one, but it ended up being a large sting ray. It fought harder than anything I've ever caught! It was a 40-minute war of attrition to see if me or the ray would give up first. I got it to the boat, and then we cut it loose. Aaron took pictures of us with our catch for our honeymoon scrapbook and dropped us off at Ocracoke, and took our fish back to the marina to clean and package for us. On his way back, he saw a school of red drum and caught one to throw in with our catch as a surprise for us. I've done many charters on OBX, but Captian Aaron with Tightline Charters was hands down my best experience!
Aaron was absolutely the best! The bite was tough at the beginning but Aaron was determined to find some fish and I ended up catching multiple species and lit up the Blues before coming back into the dock. i will be back and Aaron is a top notch Captain!
Truly an amazing experience!! The fishing was great, but it was Captain Aaron that made the trip, his attitude and dedication was outstanding. We had a ton of fun!!! Best charter trip I have ever been on!!!! We had a ton of fun. Call this Captain and get the trip of a lifetime!!!
Aaron knows the area, the sound and best fishing spots, even though the fish just weren’t biting that today for us and other charters he made sure to get us somewhere to catch something. He is very knowledgeable about the fish and area. Highly recommended
We booked to go deep sea, but as our curse had it weather was not permiting. However Captain Aaron made the trip fun and enjoyable! He made sure we caught fish, learned some new skills and had the best conversations! Highly recommend!
