Captain Wayne was super cool. Very welcoming and helpful. I booked for my son and friends as part of a grad celebration. They had a great time and caught a bunch of fish. I recommend this trip and would book again.

I booked the 2 hour sunset trip with my son and his 3 buddies that are stationed close by. Capt. Wayne was awesome! Friendly, easy going and attentive to everyone fishing. There were 5 of us and we all caught multiple fish, including sea robin, pig fish, spot, croaker, trout and even a puffer fish! They weren’t big fish, but the guys had a great time catching multiple. It made for a friendly competition. I think there was a tie for the most at 13 fish! We will definitely book again and go on a longer trip next time. Thank you!
We had a great time fishing with Captain Wayne. We wanted to catch cobia and the captain put us on the fish. It was a beautiful day out on the water and we were able to spot multiple pods of cruising cobia. We hooked into 9 and were able to successfully land 7 of them. The mate and captain did a great job pitching baits to hungry cobia. We doubled up multiple times and the mate worked hard netting the fish. It was a really fun trip and we look forward to fishing with Chasin’ Wake in the future.

Captain Wayne was awesome! We had a tough day battling the red tide, but he never lost confidence that we’d eventually find the fish. He stayed in touch with at least a dozen other guides, and none of them had seen a single cobia all day. Still, Captain Wayne wasn’t about to give up. We covered a lot of water, and in the end, his persistence paid off. He put us right on the cobia, we caught our limit, and had an absolute blast doing it. If you’re looking for a guide who’s willing to put in the work to make your trip a success, Captain Wayne is your guy!

I took my family on a sunset trip for a couple of hours and it was a blast! My kids are young, so wanted to make sure the trip wasn’t too long and that we’d catch fish they could handle. Captain Wayne delivered on this and more. He and TJ were great with my kids, which also allowed my wife and I some time to enjoy the sunset and experience. All told I think my kids caught more than I did, and that’s just fine with me. I highly recommend this charter!
overall an unforgetable time! our other charter canceled for storms and i spent hours looking to book something while we were down here. Wayne responded right away and got us in. my first time booking a charter ever and he made me feel re-assured and once we got there everything went so smooth! they are so friendly and helpful! ive never caught anything bigger than rockfish prior to this. they were so nice and taught me so much. we are already planning our next booking!
