We caught a lot of cod and max our limit on halibut. Made some great memories together. First mate Bryce was an awesome young man and Captain Jake was very knowledgeable where the fish was at. They were great with our grandson who had a blast on his first trip out on a charter boat. Highly recommend. Thanks Jake and Bryce! Great to meet you both.
Two days fishing on less than great weather, but Captain Weston and mate Adam made them epic for Granppa, son and three grand kids. Day one - rough water but found a safe space , got quota and some throw backs without a problem- one fifty pounder. Then trolled - o e king, two pinks Znd a rock fish. 120 + pounds of fish. Day to a bit calmer and made a return to our spot. Feeling a little bolder took our time and paid off - over two hundred pounds- last halibut caught over 100 pounds - WOW. Also got a firty pound octopus, trolled and got two more Kings. Crew iutstanding, beautiful boat. Memories made - thanks
Great trip with Wes and Adam. Young but very knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, enthusiastic, experienced. 4 in our group, 3 very experienced fisherman, and they were great with all of us. Wes grew up in Homer so knows the water. We didn't know Halibut fishing is closed on Tuesdays when we booked, which would have been nice to know ahead of time, we could have rearranged our schedules. Perhaps we should have called in person vs 100% online booked to find that info out. We expected to fish with Jake on the Nauti Nellie, and that was changed, would have been nice to know ahead of time. They run 3 boats, so understandable, but a heads up would help. Meet time was adjusted to later sunrise, and pre-trip communication was otherwise great. Wes and Adam greeted us with big smiles and introduced themselves, asked our names, and off we went for a great day on the water. Only equipment issue was we fished in deep (~300') water at one spot and reels were short on line from previous charter getting hung down and breaking line off, could only go to 250' or so. So we moved and caught fish at another spot. I am sure they remedied that issue after we got ashore. Wes called fish processors, who met us at the dock, and flash froze our catch in 1 lb vacuum bags, ready to ship. A great and memorable day on the water in Homer.

We did the Bears and Halibut tour and had an amazing trip. Got to see the bears feeding in their natural environment and then great action fishing. It truly was the experience of a lifetime. Jake and Brianna were so nice it was like being on a boat ride with friends. Would definitely recommend and we will be back.
Our family of six had a great time! Two teenage boys had the time of their lives catching fish. Seemed like someone always had one on the hook. The crew was extremely helpful and encouraging. Unfortunately, I can’t remember the captain’s name but his assistant was Alex. They were both skilled fishermen and a lot of fun.
