  Spring fishing trip

  4 Hour Trip – Lake Minnetonka on May 17, 2026 • 6 adults

  We had the opportunity to go out on a fishing trip with Captain Dusty. We had a great time! Dusty got us into some spring crappies. It was a bit of a frenzy with all of the fish we were catching. In our group, we had 5 13 yr olds, and one adult. he was great getting us set up and helped with removing fish and untangling lines. He had tons of patience and knew exactly where the fish were! I would highly recommend DH custom Rods for any of your fishing trips!

  We had an amazing fishing trip! Dustin was incredibly helpful and patient with all four of my kids—my 5-year-old twins, my 6-year-old, and my 9-year-old. He took the time to work with each of them, helped them feel comfortable, and by the end they were no longer scared of being on the boat. He made the experience fun, relaxing, and memorable for our whole family. I highly recommend booking a trip with Dustin, especially if you're bringing young kids!

  Fantastic New Experience!

  4 Hour Trip – Lake Minnetonka - 1:00 PM on June 8, 2026 • 6 adults

  Super fun day! Started with lunch at Lord Fletchers where the charter was waiting for our party of 6. Powerful engine which made it fun just getting to the first fishing spots. Captain Dusty was extremely knowledgeable and patient since several of us have rarely fished. The group caught about 20 Northern and Bass with an almost Muskie catch. Our San Diego guests said it was the best day ever in Minnesota. We’ll be booking with Dusty again.

  Great and helpful guide, set us on to plenty of fish

  Dusty clearly has a ton of experience not only in fishing but with teaching others skills to improve their fishing. We caught about 20 black crappie each during our outing and had a blast. Dusty was able to help give pointers when fish weren’t being brought in and knew when to move on from locations. Highly recommend :)

  4 Hour Trip – Lake Minnetonka on July 27, 2026 • 6 adults

  Our trip was a 4 hour morning trip on a hot day. We had five fishermen with varying levels of fishing experience. Captain Dusty was extremely patient. He taught us a new fishing tecnique and everyone caught at least 5 fish. The entire experience was positive. We would all like to fish with Captain Dusty again!
