We caught 7-8 really nice lake trout! Steve was extremely knowledgeable and helpful as well. We tried several different techniques and lures. We had a great time and are looking forward to dinner! Thank you

Beautiful morning on the lake. Captain Steve treated us like royalty. His gear and boat were clean and organized. We headed out and caught 2 nice lake trout. He found the fish quickly and guided our execution with a lot of tips and tricks to get them hooked and in the boat. Were new to lake trout so our technique needed some help or we’d have caught more. We found Captain Steve to be friendly and had great conversations. We look forward to booking with him again next year!

55 years old been fishing for at least 50 of them. l’ve had a lot of experiences but this was different. Bass fisherman that wanted to try something else. He answered a never ending line of questions while teaching a friend and I how to catch lakers. We caught many, we also fished for perch and caught a bundle using a technique that I was aware of but never tried. He is not the average guide. It was more like fishing with your brother you haven’t seen in years with above average intelligence and fishing skills. Oh yeah, he doesn’t charge to filet the fish. I could go on. I sent my husband and teenage son on this trip as a Birthday/ Fathers day gift for my husband. Its about 2 hours from where we live, but it was absolutely worth the effort. My husband praised the captain's professionalism, knowledge, and skill. He also said he was just generally a nice guy. Husband and son were thrilled to catch 5 beautiful, big lake trout, which were professionally cleaned by the captain and sent home on ice, so we could have a fresh fish dinner! There's nothing quite like spending a few hours on the lake with someone who clearly knows what theyre doing.

My wife and I dont get out on the water much, and we never go fishing. Steven made it easy! He got us out and they were biting. In four short hours we each caught our daily limit of trout BIG ONES! 5 each! Were gonna be eating trout all year! Steven even cleaned em up for us. all we gotta do is throw em in the freezer.
