Caught lots of fish. Reds, Flounder, Channel Catfish, Trout, and Jack's. worth every penny. Even thought it was worth more so I gave the Captian a nice tip.

Had an incredible half-day fishing charter with Captain Todd Philcox at Salty Charters of Jacksonville. Captain Todd was exceptionally attentive throughout the trip and put us right on the fish from the start. He worked hard to move us to a number of different spots, which allowed us to catch all the fish we needed early. We landed a great number of redfish, along with some nice jack crevalle and speckled trout. On top of the great fishing, Captain Todd was fantastic with our 10 and 12-year-old kids, keeping them engaged and helping them out the entire time. I would definitely recommend Salty Charters to anyone looking for a great day on the water, and we would certainly use them again!

My son Brandon, and my friend Steve enjoyed a wide variety today. Steve caught a 27 inch Snook (our first ever). We saw Tarpon for the first time (they were less cooperative). We caught Redfish, Trout, Snapper, Drum, Snook, Jack, Catfish, Stingray, and Ladyfish. All in the wind and rain. Appreciated Captain Todd going out today and as always with him it paid off. Super fun.

To say this was a productive trip is a huge understatement. Captain Todd not only led us to great fishing (redfish - primarily), but incredible guidance and kindness. He knew the waterways really well and we never stopped catching quality fish from the time we started fishing until the trip was over. He will definitely see me again when I return to Jax Beach this fall. We caught reds up to 33 inches, trout, flounder, and jacks. Incredible trip and Todd led us to great fishing. Excellence fishing with great variety of species. Redfish stole the day which was real fun. Todd is an excellent fisherman who is extremely patient and nice. We will go with him many more times once we move to Florida permanently next year.
My son caught the largest fish of his life. A 40-inch Redfish. It was incredible and captain Todd coached him all the way through it. Fishing was solid overall but the memory watching & taping Brandon with a 40-inch Red is priceless. Thanks Skipper.
