One of the greatest trips I've ever had. We were suppose to go on a Salmon trip, but Captain Smith decided to have us do a Rockfish/Bonito trip. Booooyyyy I limited out on Rockfish and got a huge lingcod not even an hour later. I patiently waited for the bonito part of the trip and WOW IT WAS SO FUN!! Captain and his team are all on top of it! Everyone went home with fish. Everyone. At one point, I got sick a few times, but all good just cause Mother Nature. One member of his team gave me water and offered dramamine, but I'm already using the patch. Didn't stop me from having fun bringing home fish for my friends and family. Would recommend this charter! Note: I brought my own gear. Also, if your catch is too heavy like mine, you're okay to move your car to the dock area just to load your catch and your gear.

Great charter. Do not be scared off by the rod rental. The trip rate is already very reasonable and rental fees are basically nothing. Captain and deckhand were very friendly and got us onto loads of fish in a hurry. Captain even went above and beyond when I asked him about advice on shipping my catch back because I had an airplane to catch he brought me an airline approved box and cooler with a cold ice pack and expected nothing in return. Boat was very roomy, clean, and rode the waves like butter. Would fish with them again. Highly recommended.

Captain Smitty and the crew were awesome! Not only did we limit high quality rockfish but we ALL got to catch hard fighting Bonito. One of the best charter tips I've been on. Highly recommend the Riptide for a hands down great trip.

took 9 of my friends and family on a salmon charter. the captain and crew made sure we were always bait in water. all 9 of us caught fish with some limits. fantastic day.
