Half Day Trip4 adults2 children

Set up a half day trip with Jose for myself, wife, and 2 kids. It was amazing how much you can catch and see in a 1/2 day trip with these guys. We caught snapper, grouper, seabass, and hooked up on a giant rooster fish. All within 20 minutes of the beach! Jose made setting up the trip very easy, and the guys on the boat were tremendously experienced but you could tell still really loved fishing. I’m an experienced fisherman and had a great time catching new species, and the trip was fun for a 6 & 8 year old as well as the wife. One of the best parts is the beautiful locale in Golfo Papagayo. We saw a humpback whale and her calf while fishing in addition to monkeys in the trees near shore and flying fish. I recommend these guys and plan on returning with a group of buddies in the next few months for another trip with Jose!

    amazing trip for the family!

    Jose helped coordinate this trip two months in advance and kept it a surprise for my husband for Fathers Day. Eduardo and Miller we’re wonderful on the boat and provided amazing customer service! My kids were 14 and 12 and they were very patient allowing them many opportunities to cast and reel. in the end, we got a 30 pound big eyed Jack fish and a bass. We were able to take the big eyed Jack fish back to the Riu, where we signed a waiver, and they cooked it at the buffet for us on a beautiful platter. We felt like royalty! I highly recommend having Jose pick you up at the hotel for a little extra and would totally do this again. We did the half-day next time we will increase and do the full day but half day was perfect for our family to start

    Unforgettable experience!

    Full Day Fishing Trip • 4 adults

    We had a great time with Jose and his crew! Even though the fish weren't biting much that day, the crew worked hard to put us on fish, and we caught some nice barracuda. They even made fresh ceviche from our catch, and it was amazing! The crystal clear water and boat ride made for a beautiful experience. We also saw sea snakes, dolphins and sea turtles. Watching the crew get excited during the chase was unforgettable. The team was friendly, professional, and made our family feel welcome. We'd definitely book with them again. Pura Vida! 🇨🇷🎣

    Tuna! Tuna! and MORE Tuna!

    We had a great day on the water with our party of 8!! We did the half day trip where Jose greeted us right on the beach near our resort. The water was a little dangerous in that area so we were shuttled to safer point where we could jump on. We were greeted by our Captain and fishing expert as they were our guides for the tour as well as a cooler full of drinks and fruit! We took about 30 min ride out in the ocean and starting casting right away. The wind had other plans as it was SO choppy and a lot of us started to get sick (I am not a sea sick person and I was even nauseous). Nothing anyone could do about that but the crew realized what was happening and quickly took us to a flatter location. No luck catching anything at this point but we had a wonderful ride around the area and got to see some monkeys, dolphins, and iguana as well as some HUGE houses and resorts. Very lovely area. Then we went back out to try again. The tuna were EVERY WHERE!!! I think we caught like 12 in the span of an hour which was really cool for our whole party but especially our 4 boys. The crew got them fileted and sliced up for us to take home at the end. We had a great time and would likely recommend Jose and his very professional crew!

    Friendly crew, amazing ceviche, great trip!

    We were picked up on the beach at our hotel right on time and started fishing within a few minutes. A great experience with a friendly crew, perfect for what we wanted! Not the best trip for anyone looking to get real serious fishing done (mostly due to boat configuration), but perfect for a nice day on the water with good conversation and great food. Our crew made fresh ceviche from some of the tuna we caught... And let me tell you... It was probably the best ceviche we've ever had! Can't thank the crew enough! The boat was spotless, the drinks provided were ice cold, and we were able to take home some fresh tuna which was prepared at Roberto's which we would also highly recommend! Captain Jose was able to help us make the reservations and took care of all the details! Would definitely book again!

    The best!

    Jose picked us (my wife, my twin 13 yr old boys, and myself) up from our hotel and brought us to the boat. Eduardo and Miller took us out for a half day trip. The whole experience was outstanding! We have taken fishing trips in the Keys, Puerto Rico, St. Thomas, and Tampa and this was by far the best. Within 30 mins of getting on the boat, Eduardo and Miller had us on the fish. We all caught black fin tuna and to top it off, the crew hooked an 80 lb rooster fish that I fought for 25 mins before we got it in the boat. We grabbed a bunch of pics with it and then we released it. That was all within the first 3 hours! We spent the last hour snorkeling on a quiet beach where we saw all kinds of reef fish and a turtle! The crew filleted the tuna for us and we ate it that night. It was a perfect trip and I cannot recommend them enough. Book your trip with them, you will not be disappointed.
