I can not say enough nice things about Captin Karl. My daughter (6 year old) and I spent the morning with him. It was her first time on a boat, and he knew exactly what to do. We stayed in calm waters of the bay and gradually worked our way out as we were more confident she wouldn’t get sea sick. He allowed her to hold the rod herself and have independence, imedeitly had us on fish to get her attention. He took time to let her safely touch, investigate and explore each fish. The fishing slowed a bit as it got hot and slack tide hit, but we moved often and never went long without a bite. The slower bite did not stop the fun. Captain Karl allowed her to play (slightly torture) some of the bait, “drive” the boat, and engage her whenever there was something cool to see. I’m also 100% confident that we would have had nonstop action had we not been catering to my daughter.

It was our first experience actually going out in the water and fish. We were pretty inexperienced when it came to fishing but captain Karl made us feel very comfortable. He was also very knowledgeable and with his help we were about to catch some decent size fishes. It was a very memorable experience and I would highly recommend him. Looking forward to our next fishing trip with captain Karl

Had a great time with Capt. Karl today. Fished for fluke all day. Started closer to shore and he managed to get two on the same rod at the same time somehow. Then later on we moved out further from shore where we caught a bunch more including 3 keepers. He was very knowledgeable of the techniques and good areas to drift. Will definitely look to book with him again!

Wow what a day! My wife and I celebrated my 59th birthday with Cptn Karl. Down to earth, taught us tons about the specific nuances of fishing the highlands. Got a 4pound keeper and great action. We will return
