Booked Capt. Rich and Osprey Fishing as a birthday present for my daughter and me. We’re both inexperienced anglers and I wanted her to be able to pull in some fish.
Man Capt. Rich was able to put us right on top of the fish and within minutes of our first cast my daughter was reeling in her first fish, and second and third etc.

The trip far exceeded my expectations and my daughter has not stopped talking about it. We will be booking again with Capt. Rich and Osprey Fishing.

I’ve been on a lot of private and party fishing trips and Captain Rich was by far the best out there. If you want an experience to learn how to fish, where to fish, how everything works, and how to use it this is the trip for you. He was super knowledgeable, friendly, and determined for us to catch more and more fish. We did catch and release but we must have pulled up 15 or so fish yesterday, 3 types of Catfish, Snakehead, Perch, and LM Bass. Thanks for a great day out!

Rich loves to fish as much as you. We caught 84 fish and didn’t have (or want) to eat. We broke his previous record day of 71 fish. His equipment was in top-notch condition and his expertise first class. I’ve never experienced catching so many game size fish one after another all day long. I booked a Saturday trip with Rich. We started off at 8am and didn’t get back til late. It was a tough day for fishing: Very Cloudy, Very Windy, Very Dirty/Stained water. I caught a couple of fish, I could have had a couple more but I lost them bringing them in.

It’s been a long time since I really fished regularly (30+ years) and I told Rich up front I was looking for instruction and a nice relaxing day of fishing. He went over the basic knots (which I really needed), different types of softbaits, colors and how/when to fish each. It was exactly what I was looking for on the trip.

As I said, I was looking for instruction and a nice relaxing day of fishing and that is exactly what I got. I’ll definitely book again with Rich when our schedules match up.

We booked the trip as a birthday/Father’s Day gift for my dad, and everyone that went had a great time!! Captain Rich was extremely communicative and flexible leading up to the trip and very help throughout the trip! They caught more fish than anticipated and had a lot of fun!
