I have no issues with the captain and the deckie. From an experience point of view, it was disappointing that none of us (12 pax) in the boat had a keeper. I know sometimes luck plays a part in fishing so I can’t fault the Captain. It is what it is but that doesn’t take away the disappointment though.

The fishing was good. Although I jump onto a lot of charters and the captin was very disappointing. At first he seen I had my jig road and first comments “ can’t use that as we have too many people on the boat” which I can live with. But to my surprise he was jiging at front of boat himself. And allowing his mate that also came on the boat. I ask the deckie who was very nice young kid if I could jump up front and jig. He said I’d have to ask the skipper. If you like to lure fish don’t use this boat. It’s a bait only boat and double standard skipper.

The boat was fine but fishing was terrible.9 people on board with not a lot caught.a lot of small stuff.should have gone straight to deep water.Need a full days fishing to make the price worth the trip.
