After 2 days of terrible storms and flooding in Port Clinton, the lake was very churned up and murky.  I got a text from the Captain in the morning saying “fishing might be a bit tough today”.  I told him we are still looking forward to it and we will just be optimistic.
My family and I met up with Bob at the boat at 2pm.  He seemed very nice and ready for a full day of fishing.  We got out in the lake, marked a bunch of fish and got set up for drifting.  In the first 2 hours all we had to show for our effort was a sheepshead. 
Bob decided the water was still too murky and wanted to switch things up.  We were going to troll. We were marking schools of fish but they probably just weren’t seeing the bait.  Things sure changed after he broke out the planer boards and spinners.
He showed the boys what he was doing, taught them how to recognize a bite and we got to it. 
From 4:30pm to 8:30 we must have hooked into about 15 walleye.  Lost a couple through no fault of the Captain, caught 4 small ones we threw back and walked away with 7 nice sized keepers.  A 25 incher, 2 24’s, and a 23 were the biggest.
We had a great time and everyone caught at least 1 walleye.  I would recommend Captain Bob and the Reel Deal boat to everyone looking to catch fish.
