Captain Lee was a great skipper. He took us out trying to catch some Spanish mackerel or maybe a king mackerel but the fish had other ideas. We trolled for a while at a couple of places and after no luck, gave up on that and switched to bottom fishing. Resetting the rigs, we noticed that we just barely missed a mackerel when we saw our bait cleanly sliced and were amazed how the fish misses both hooks!

Captain Lee put us over a good spot on the bottom and we used cut squid to try for a pinfish to use as bait. Instead we pulled in tons of black sea bass. Most were too small to keep but we finally got something similar to the pinfish to use as mackerel bait.

We caught a few 12” sea bass but couldn’t keep since the minimum is 13”. We did manage to land one 13 1/2” sea bass to keep but the others had to be returned to the ocean.

At the end, we finally caught a pinfish but it was too late to keep going.

Captain Lee gave us a great trip and we all had fun catching the sea bass. I would highly recommend using Get Hooked Fishing Charters for your next adventure!

We had a great time!  Captain Lee knew where to take us to get us on the bite!  We all caught fish including our 5 year old. We ended up with 5 different types of fish on the boat. Captain Lee was very friendly and made our experience amazing!  Would definitely go back out with him again and will recommend him to our friends. Don’t even second guess going out with him!  He made the experience a blast.

We had a great time with a great person, Captain Lee Barker. We left early in the morning and came back with a dozen fish. He put us in the right spots and continued to find better spots on our trip. As some may know, you won’t always catch fish every single time going out, no matter who you are with. But I do know he is very knowledgeable in what he does and will give his best effort to help you catch some fish. Captain Lee is such a friendly and easy guy to talk to. We will definitely make this a priority fishing trip on our vacation every year.
