Charlie Roger's is a solid captain with terrific local knowledge. Born and raised in the area, Charlie knows his stuff. We went fishing for sailfish and tuna on a fairly rough seas day. We tried kite fishing. Charlie was well prepared and worked the lines hard. We caught some mutton snapper while drifting and a Spanish mackeral. I would recommend Capt Charlie for more experienced fisherman. Nice guy
Captain Rodgers was extremely friendly, understanding, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. He helped make a last-second trip become reality, and it was some of the best fishing I’ve done. I honestly couldn’t thank him enough for his accommodations. I compared a lot of different choices for charters, and overall, Against the Grain seemed like the best one. After actually going, it did not disappoint one bit. I’d recommend Captain Rodgers and Against the Grain to anyone looking to go on a charter, he’s the best there is
On vacation with the family and my daughter was interested in going fishing witb me. We booked with Against the Grain and Capt Charlie and had a great day out on the water. Caught a bunch of fish and made some memories. Capt Charlie is very knowledgeable and great to talk to. would recommend to anyone looking for a great day on the water.
We first tried to get some mutton snappe bu they werent biting. we then headed out to find some Mahi. we came up ona few patches of sawgrass but we didnt have any luck. Finally we found some birds and the fight was on. we wound up with over 20 Mahi. Dinner for a few nights. Capt was great and put us where we needed to be.
