  Cabo did not disappoint!

  Met Captain Oscar and crewmate Armando (Hermando?) at 6:30 in the harbor. He said our best luck would be for roosters and Jack Crevalle right off the beach. 45 minutes later we hooked up to our first fish. Lost it because I accidentally set the drag too tight. But soon after we had another and my son caught his first rooster. We had lots of action, and I got a couple of big jacks. We caght some other fish and went back to the dock with some delicious triggers that Captain Tony’s fixed up for us. Highly recommend these guys!!!!

  Fish of a lifetime

  Half Day Trip on September 23, 2025 • 2 adults

  My wife and I booked a trip hoping to catch a dorado or rooster fish. We were hoping to catch at least one small fish a piece. We ended up catching a 10 ft. 230 lb. Blue marlin on a 22 ft boat. Wow! Armando was amazing and a real trooper helping to bring it in. It was still pretty green after gaffing it, but he held on it seems like forever. He really had a battle on his hands, but we eventually got it in. We were the talk of the marina as they paraded the fish down to weigh it and get a great picture. Thank you to Oscar and Armando and Behard Sport Fishing for the trip of a lifetime.

  Mahi Mahi x3 early July, Thx Behard Sportsfishing

  Half Day Trip on July 2, 2024 • 3 adults

  Booked a 5 hour morning trip for July 2nd. Three fishermen (ages 62, 26, 23), all first timers in Cabo waters. Fleet Owner Oscar reached out via text to answer any questions a week prior to the trip. Oscar reported marlin, mahi, and rooster were all biting. He also reported winds were strong and waters were choppy. Oscar called to hotel morning of trip to make sure our party was on schedule. Oscar met us on the dock and arranged for the purchase of the daily fishing licenses. We boarded the boat (~23 footer) with Captain Armando in charge. Bought bait and headed for the fishing grounds. As we rode out, my son drove the boat so Armando could rig up the lines for trolling. We had the option of going after Marlin, but chose to go after Mahi. After 2.5 hours of trolling we landed our first Mahi (largest one). Another hour passed, and we had 3 Mahi. At that point, water was getting rougher, so we headed in. As we didn't plan for what to do with the fish, Oscar recommended we take some to Captain Tony's restaurant where their tag line is "you hook it, we cook it". We kept the smallest Mahi and dropped it off at Captain Tony's Restuarant. We returned for dinner, where the restaurant offers to cook the fish 10 different ways. Fantastic way to end the day overlooking the harbor, feasting on our catch. Overall, an excellent authentic fishing excursion in Cabo, except for one of my sons (sea sick).
