What a great day

6 Hour Trip3 adults

The weather was terrible, the fishing wasn't the greatest but the captain made the day one to remember. His passion for finding fish was unreal. We had such a great time watching him work the boat and try to find us fish. Because of his hard work and knowledge we were all able to haul in a fish. Most captains would have given up with the rain and cold but he gave us are full experience and never stopped trying to hook more fish. The roomy pontoon boat was a major bonus. There was plenty of room for us to move around and truly enjoyed the experience. I'm looking forward to booking a future trip and a much dryer day.

    Terrific trout trip.

    4 Hour Trip – Sunset & Salmon • 4 adults

    My 15 year-old son and his friend and I had a great morning out with Captain Charlie. He was entertaining, energetic, and enthusiastic throughout. Certainly knows what he is doing as far as fishing and was very generous in explaining all the details. We caught probably 15 lake trout and one small but beautiful salmon. One lake trout went to a bald eagle, who swooped it up from the water and carried it off to its nest. The boys and I had a lot of fun, and as our not-so-productive experience last year fishing for a week without a guide can attest, having an expert leading the way—especially on this lake, which can be tricky—makes all the difference.

    Awesome Experience!

    Captain Charlie was awesome! I had my two boys (7 & 4) and he explained everything to them and kept their attention on what they needed to do. The weather conditions were not optimal for catching a lot of fish, but we managed to haul in 3 decent sized fish. Memorable catches for my boys! If you want to find someone who makes fishing fun, go with Captain Charlie & Bucks Bass and Beyond!

    I had an amazing time with Captain Charlie. Caught many fish - salmon and lake trout - and got to take home a 6lb salmon and 6lb lake trout. Also saw many bald eagles throughout the morning. I learned a lot and would recommend this to everyone. I'll definitely be booking again.

    Fun Time

    4 Hour Trip (PM) • 7 adults • 1 child

    I had settled into acceptance not much was going to bite… Warm day, no wind, afternoon trip because my kids wont wake up early. Boy was I wrong. Charlie has the right equipment and experience on the lake to make any outing an eventful one. We had a ton of catches and bites, the kids had a great time and we took home several days worth of dinner. Great experience for them and me.

    My boys and I had a great time with Captain Charlie and caught a lot of Salmon! We got a large one for dinner ! highly recommended when you are next in the lakes region of Maine
