Captain Randal exceeded all of our expectations for our fishing trip! First of all, I want to say, my husband and I planned this trip for our son Eric who has become highly interested in fishing.  However, we are definitely clueless in this area! We decided to go with a “PRO” to help our son gain better knowledge.  Captain Randal is definitely a “PRO”!! He knew all the top places to fish and our son caught an abundance on our morning adventure! He even encouraged me to fish as I caught my first fish in over 20 years! His patience was unbelievable as he helped me numerous times after I continued to get my line snagged! Our son gained a ton of knowledge from this trip and we are so grateful to Captain Randal for sharing his expertise! We will definitely plan to come back again and have more adventures!! Firstly, I would like to thank Randal for taking us out on a VERY hot Saturday morning in August.  Secondly, I cannot recommend Randal & Central Texas Fishing Guide enough.  Everything went smoothly and better than expected.  We met at 6:45am and he already had the boat in the water waiting for us. My fiance has fished many times before but I was a rookie. Randal took the time to really educate us about the lake and how to fish for the type of fish we were hoping to catch, bass!  We went to multiple spots on the Lake and were able to get bites at every location. All in all, we had a great time!  You can tell Randal loves what he does and is an expert at it. Would give him 6 stars if we could. Thanks for all the tips and tricks and I can’t wait to get out there again!  Oh and he took some great pictures of our catches! :)

For Father’s Day this year, I wanted to do something different for my dad. So I googled different things and stumbling upon this charter was the best thing ever!

Captain Randall was the nicest guy ever! From the moment I booked the charter he was always available for questions that I had. With this being my first charter, I did have quite a few questions however Captain Randall let them go unanswered.

The experience itself was truly the most amazing part. We went all over Lake Travis. The scenery was beautiful and the company was delightful….I even caught TWO large mouth bass!

Thank you Captain Randall for a Father’s Day my dad and I will remember for years to come!

My son couldn’t wait to return home and tell his “big fish” stories after spending the morning fishing with his dad and grandpa on a tour of Lake Travis. Captain Randal Frisbie was outstanding!

PRE-TRIP: Randal started communicating shortly after we booked the trip. He was quick to coordinate logistics, including a meet-up location, and weather forecasts and tips.

THE BOAT: The boat was fantastic! It’s stable, with lots of great standing/fishing areas in the bow and aft areas, including a fishing chair in the rear for anyone struggling with balance on the water. It’s fast—we didn’t feel like we wasted any time traveling between fishing spots. The trolling motor in the front does a great job of maintaining a position, or repositioning where needed. And the on-board technology, including two screens for viewing underwater depth and shoreline conditions, gave us a nice advantage when making our casts.

THE EQUIPMENT: Randal has a great line-up of rods with varied types of lures which made it easy for us to change things up quickly to adjust to fishing conditions. The boat was also stocked with drinks and snacks—possibly my son’s favorite feature! Randal also had life vests available for my son to help ensure proper safety.

THE EXPERIENCE: We all enjoyed our time with Randal. He provided a wealth of knowledge to help us “newbies” get trained and fishing quickly. He’s also a lot of fun, with lots of great fishing stories to tell. Most importantly, though, he really went out of his way to make sure that my son had a great experience—when my son lost attention, Randal would make a few casts, get a fish on the line, and then hand the rod over to my son for the win. My son loved being able to say he caught more fish than his dad and grandpa combined!

Great day of fishing! We’ve already booked our next trip.

The Captain was a super nice person to me and my wife, made us comfortable during the whole trip. Tried every nook of water to put us onto the basses, and it played out well. My wife and I were able to catch our first basses and two gualupes ones too, our central Texas largies!
