We caught 0 fish, I didn't even touch a fishing line. The crew didnt talk to me unless I asked something, but that could just be a language barrier. The boat was also different than in the picture, but that was no problem. It was my first time and a terrible first experience and not to mention crazy expensive to just sit on a bench for 5 hours while drinking a water and a coke. I am devestated, because I really looked forward to this.

Hello Mr Sander ,we appologise for the inconvenience and i can understand your frustration for not catching a fish...my team and myself have a solid expérience in big game fishing and our réputation on the island us done...but as a fisherman i can understand your frustration for your first expérience...but you must understand also in big game fishing we dors not win all the time...thats why we call it fishing...we always do our best to have the best catch ... concerning the price you must also be aware that wherever in the world you will do big game fishing is not cheap as the investment in this leisure is big and my company has a good price comparing to others so that it can be affordable for many people...and the quality is here...i can understand your frustration but our réputation in fishing on the island is solid...we always try to keep it high...Thanks Capt Avi

    What an amazing morning out at sea! We were warmly greeted by Captain Avi and introduced to his crew, Rocky and Michael. From the moment we boarded, it was clear that we were in the hands of experienced professionals. Michael was constantly scanning for bird activity to guide Rocky, and their teamwork was impressive to watch. The boat was spotless, the toilet was clean, and all the fishing gear was in great condition. Best of all, within the first hour we landed three dorado! We also hooked a tuna but unfortunately lost it, which only added to the excitement of the day. Thank you, Captain Avi, Rocky, and Michael, for an unforgettable fishing experience. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone looking for a great day of fishing.

    Great morning fishing with Avi

    We met Avi this morning, who is the most helpful guy ever. We were out for a morning trip, which sadly we had to cut short due to my youngest being ill. But the experience whilst out was awesome. Lost a small tuna early on, but caught a wahoo later on, to give me my first experience of catching a game fish. Avi is a knowledgeable, friendly and guy who goes out of his way to look after his customers. If we cam back to Mauritius id definitely go out with Avi again, just leave the kids at home haha. Thanks Avi!

    Great crew and boat

    My partner and I did a fishing charter with Rocky, Trishy and Michael and had a great time. The crew were very friendly and knowledgeable. They did everything in their power to find fish, constantly scouring the horizon for birds and for splashes. We had a great time on board and managed to come home with a few Bonito. Would definitely recommend booking a charter with Captain Avi and his team - we will be back when the Yellowfin arrive!

    Avi and Rocky were great!

    We met up with Avi at 6:15am at a nice restaurant parking lot. It was a short walk to the anchored boat. Avi explained how we were hunting for specific bird formations to find our target species (mahi). He explained the rigs and strategy we were using well. All very interesting! It was awesome to watch the Mahi skim the surface while hunting baitfish. We also saw schools of flying fish jumping out of the water. All of our setups were topwater — so you could see a fish approach and strike the lures. We caught 5 fish. Three skipjack tuna and two Mahi, one bull and one female. Overall a great experience!

    Great afternoon out!

    Great day out, very tidy clean boat, big and comfortable. Captain and crew were friendly and professional and made sure we all caught something. Not a lot biting on the day but crew worked hard to make sure we didn’t go home empty handed. Great boat and trip for a family with kids.
