Great half day, highly recommended!

Half Day Trip (AM)4 adults2 children

We had a great 4 hour trip inshore with Captain Chris. Two adults, two kids 11 and 12 - the Captain could not have been more accommodating and just flat out nice. He took the time to teach the kids how to work the rods and helped out with everything from baiting to casting to unhooking the ~35 fish we caught during the 4 hours. He knew exactly where to go and had us on fish within minutes of stopping at our first spot. While your mileage may vary, and I’m sure the Captain is too humble to take the credit that he should, this guy definitely knows what he’s doing and is just a really wonderful person. Stop reading this review and hit the book button, you won’t be sorry!!!

    Great day on the water!

    3 Hour Summer Special • 3 adults • 1 child

    We had a great day with Captain Chris! He took us to some great spots and was patient with the amateur fishers on the boat. We caught some fish and while some weren't big enough to keep, some were, and it was overall a great and exciting trip!

    Everytime we visit the OBX I book a trip with Captain Chris of First Light Charters for my husband and son. Were from PA where its all fresh water fishing and they truly enjoy the salt life with Chris aboard the boat. He works his tail off to put you on fish and makes it an all around enjoyable experience. Hes also top notch when it comes to fish cooking advice FYI!

    My father in law and I went out with Chris and had a great time! We caught 6 sheepshead and my father in law caught one that got him a citation! The captain said it was the biggest ever caught on his boat. Chris is extremely knowledgeable and the day was perfect out on the water catching fish to bring home for dinner. Thanks Captain Chris!

    Captain Chris wa fantastic! He was patient with three young fishermen. He picked good places to fish and used different methods for the best chance for success. We caught some fish that we had cleaned there and took them to the marina restaurant where the cooked them for lunch. It was a great day.

    Didn’t catch anything and it’s what i was told to expect so not surprised. Capt was very nice and tried his best. Saw Dolphin Fish Eagles caught a sting ray. Good time despite the lack of fish
