Russell, I’m at a loss as to why you gave me the worst rating I’ve ever received. I let a fourth person fish for no extra charge. You caught 6 trout, 2 redfish, 2 whitings and 3 sharks. Actually we hooked 5 sharks, but only boated 3. I saved you $60 on live bait because you said you wanted to target sharks and redfish and live bait wasn’t necessary. We actually beat 2 pros and you witnessed one cleaning their smaller catch at the cleaning table. It is not my policy to reel in fish for my customers, you don’t pay me to prove I can catch more fish than you. I would invite you back, but I can’t try any harder than I did. You still have to catch the fish. I just put you on them.

Mr Boyd I’m sorry to see that you we not completely satisfied with your trip. I always strive to give my clients’ their money’s worth. Although you caught 4 different varieties of fish I know the fish weren’t biting that well that day. For that reason I gave you a full days fishing for a half days price. It’s important to mention that when you ask for a combination dolphin watching and fishing trip your actual time fishing will be less and you should expect to catch less fish. I’m happy to say we saw more dolphin than I typically see on a trip and I am currently one of only a few guides out of over 100 in the Galveston area that allow for combination trips. Again I am sorry that this trip did not live up to your expectations and I hope you can give me another opportunity in the future.

Mr Pickens I’m sorry that this trip did not live up to your expectations. We caught over 25 Red Snapper not redfish but they all were 14” or less and 1 kingfish 22” which is under size as well. As we were coming in I offered to fish the jetties but you said no. Rarely do I have a trip where we caught so many fish that we couldn’t keep and I’m sorry it worked out that way for us. When fishing is tough I offer to all my customers additional time fishing at no additional charge but I understand after 8 hours in the heat you had enough and that wasn’t an option. Again I’m sorry this trip didn’t workout as we planned.
