Tuna time w/ Capt. Scott

Live line Giant Bluefin Tuna (MAX4)

I love to fish and have gone out w/ Captain Scott a bunch of times. Every time has been a blast - great time and … we’ve caught fish. The day we landed the giant - we caught a thresher and also had a few other runoffs - so much fun. The giants are like being hooked to a school bus!! The day with the rec fish - we kept our limit and then started jigging - insane catching tuna on a spinning rod. Anyway - Captain Scott has a robust network and always seems to know where the action is. I’ve fished tuna from other locations throughout the northeast - the cape waters and Captain Scott are world class.

    Great Striper Trip

    5 Hr Trip – Blues and Bass - AM • 4 adults

    Wonderful new boat and very well run operation. Really appreciated that they had caught live bait before they picked us up, so we were ready with it when it was needed and didn't have to spend part of our time catching bait. Our family is a mix of more and less experienced anglers and they coached on fishing technique rather than taking the pole, hooking the fish and handing it back to one of us to reel it in. Been on several striper charters on the Cape. This one we're coming back to. Nicely done guys!

    Great first time!

    4 HR Black Sea Bass(May 17-June 1) • 2 adults

    Today my friend and I got to try something new! We had a great day catching black sea bass. The weather turned out perfect. Scott and Jake were very professional, super knowledgeable and very fun to fish with. Scott was easy to communicate with, and made my life easy when finding a boat launch. They made sure we were always on top of fish and made sure our lines were always tight. Overall a wonderfull expierience, and we do plan on going back. Any anglers hesitant on who to fish with should choose Ortus Charters!

    Another great day on the water with Ortus!

    It was great to fish with Scott and Ortus charters again. The day began with wind and waves but Scott covered some ground and employed multiple tactics to get us on fish. Later it cslmed down and we found a honey hole and a coiple presentations that the fish couldn’t resist! Scott always works hard to put fish in tge boat for his clients. Wr left with great memories, striped bass fillets and the bonus squid were a nice addition! We will fish with Ortus again!

    Half day with Ortus Charters - highly recommend!

    5 Hr Trip – Blue and Bass-PM

    Scott was outstanding from start to finish. He was personable, prompt and fantastic with my two boys making the trip enjoyable for everyone. Communication was excellent and he was flexible with changing weather conditions to ensure we had the best experience possible. His boat was clean and well maintained and his assistant Jay did a great job as well. We’re very glad we chose Scott’s charter and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a great day on the water!

    Great crew and experience

    This was the first charter for my family of 5. We had a great time on the water. Scott and and his first mate, Ed, were experienced and made the trip enjoyable while also educating us on the different techniques. Despite the fish not biting, every effort was made. We will definitely be returning for a future fishing charter with Ortus Charters!
