  2 Hour Kids PM Trip on August 12, 2026 • 4 adults • 2 children

  Booked the kids 2 hour trip with Capt Wyatt. It ended up being a rather windy day which makes for good near shore fishing he said, but with how big the swells were, the captain said for the kids safety, we would be fishing the channels, he made it clear that the channel fishing would be challenging and didn’t give us false hope. To his surprise and ours, we caught a total of 8 fish. We caught 4 black drum, a pig fish, 2 pin fish, and a croaker. All ranging from about 6-12 inches or so, but they put up a decent fight and we had fun. Overall, it’s always a gamble booking a fishing charter knowing you may not get anything, but we happened to have good luck, captain was very nice and good with the kids, helped us with the technique for the type of fish we were after, and kept us moving along the channels every so often. I would have no issue booking with them again and trying out another type of fishing if the weather permitted but the channel fishing was fun too and I liked being able to cast my own reel, not like my experiences deep sea fishing where all you do is just reel in once you get a bite and the crew sets the hook. They are also reasonably priced and the captain was a total pro and we had fun.

  Fun for All!!!

  Captain Wyatt was the absolute best!!! He took care of our crew every step of the way! He adjusted as needed to make every part of our trip enjoyable. We truly loved working with him and can’t wait for our next trip to Destin so that we can fish with Captain Wyatt again!!

  Half Day Trip with Captain Lewis

  6 Hour Gulf Fishing on March 17, 2026

  I had an amazing trip with Right Side Charters and Captain Lewis. Captain Lewis was very knowledgeable and knew all the spots to get the fish on my hook. He was extremely helpful and answered any questions I had. He was also able to get me hooked up and catch my first amberjack! I highly recommend booking with Right Side Charters and Captain Lewis if you want to have a great time and limit out on some fish.

  Wyatt was our captain and he made the whole adventure so fun. He knew all the spots and to catch some fish. I couldn’t be more satisfied. I absolutely recommend 1000 times for family or a couple’s get away like us. Much Love!

  Great Time with Big Grouper

  Captain Wyatt was awesome! We had a great time and caught a bunch of fish. He was extremely knowledgeable and helped me and my sons tremendously. We caught grouper and bonitas that we kept but caught a ton of other species.
