We had a fantastic trip. Our group was 2 dads, an 11 year old and a 7 year old.

We were hoping to target something specific. Captain Mike let us know his concerns (low chance of success) and gave us options. We ended up spending about 80% of the time catching his suggestion, and the last 20% fishing for what the kids really wanted, and we ended up catching one. We wanted to catch fish for dinner, and ended up with enough for several dinners.

Captain Mike was very pleasant, funny and knowledgeable of the area.  I will be booking future trips with him.

We were new to salt water fishing, and Captain Mike taught us everything we needed to know, but didn’t “baby” us through anything. The Captain let us reel in fish from the moment they hit the spoon, all the way to unhooking the fish and dropping the line back down in the water. Captain Mike has been doing this for years and knows all the best spots. Even with a 4hr near shore trip, we caught tons of Spanish Mackerel and the Captain filleted all 12-15 fish afterwards.

Great captain! Told us great stories, got us on fish and kept us on them. If you fish out of Port Canaveral, you should be on this boat! Would fish with Mike on the Fin Addict II again in a heartbeat!

Mike was very knowledgeable and showed us how to use the equipment which I like. I’ve been fishing before in Florida and the captain would basically only let us real the fish in. This cat would let us land the Spanish mackerel and throw the lure back out. He laid all the fish for us and my family of five had a wonderful dinner tonight.

Captain Mike was a great captain. Very honest and humble. Cold front came in and he was very honest about a day of maybe not catching a lot of fish. But he succeeded in catching fish for my 2 sons that have never been on the ocean. Very happy with the experience and Captain Mike. Would definitely book with him again.
