I booked this 2 hour fishing trip for my son and family. Captain Sam Bell contacted me right away to go over the trip details. Captain Sam is a great teacher, guide, and has great communication skills. The boat ride was very calm and enjoyable. My son enjoyed fishing off the boat. He also liked the stop at island. We caught 2 fish and 2 hermit crabs. I would definitely recommend Captain Sam and this trip if you are just wanting to try out fishing in the sea.

I usually don’t leave reviews, but I will happily recommend Capt. Sam if you have kids who love to fish or are interested in learning how to fish.  Sam was patient with my twin 15 year old novice anglers and they landed fish (some were larger than mine) like pros.  He is also extremely knowledgeable of the best spots on the Palmlico Sound to fish.  Great start to our OBX vacation and we hope to book again with Capt. Sam soon.

I booked a fishing charter with Captain Sam for my 14 year old son Sam who’s been dying to catch fish on our vacations. Had a great trip with Capt. Sam . He was honest about how things were going with the bite all week . It was slow but he work the water until we found some fish with some not so ideal conditions . I would definitely book again .
